Dr. Lauren Golden, CACCP
Owner and ChiropractorHi!! My name is Dr. Lauren Golden and I am married to Dr. Nathan Bowker, owner and chiropractor of Bowker Chiropractic in the South Charlotte area. I have two little ones, Brynlee and Kayce who are my world and one little one on the way! My littlest one is rockin’ Down Syndrome like a champ, and I feel blessed to be apart of the DS Community. Being a mom is on of my favorite titles! We love to hangout with family and friends and you can almost always find us hanging out in our garage with a group of people laughing and having fun!
I am a highly experienced chiropractor who specializes in prenatal, postpartum and pediatric chiropractic care. I was born and raised in Scranton, PA. I attended the Pennsylvania State University where I received a Bachelors of Arts and Science and then continued on for my chiropractic training at the esteemed Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC.
I had my first child in August 2021 at home and experiencing the beautiful journey of birth and postpartum made me even more passionate to help all moms and their babies to experience the birth of their dreams, navigate through postpartum with ease and support, and help their families live to their utmost potential by getting to the root cause of their health issues. Following my doctorate from Sherman college, I proceeded to take another 200 hour course, becoming further certified in ICPA pediatric chiropractic and receiving my Webster Technique Certification & CACCP (Certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics).
I am a trained DONA birth doula, helping women have the birth of their dreams. I am also a BIRTHFIT Provider to help women during their postpartum journey as well as a Certified Fertility Coach focusing on helping women get pregnant, naturally. I am also a PX Certified and trained doctor. We are experts in Pediatric, Prenatal, and Family Neurologically-Focused Chiropractic Care. I pride myself on my reputation of providing compassionate and effective chiropractic care for everyone of all ages, especially the prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric population.
Fun Facts
one.I have had 2 home births with both of my babies. They were the two most amazing experiences in my life. Expecting another little one November 2024!
two.My second birth did come with a little surprise- my son was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at birth and even though it brought a lot of fears and unknowns, I couldn’t be more excited for his future and to be his momma.
three.I actually got a degree in Dance in College. I studied dance for 22 years before I decided to change career paths and become a chiropractor…and so happy I did!
Meet Dr. Katie Hulse
ChiropractorHi everyone! I’m Dr. Katie and I wanted to introduce myself. My husband Eric and I have two beautiful kiddos, Blake (5) and Chip (3) along with our rescued German Shepherd, Romeo. We’re super excited to start our homeschooling journey soon! I’m from a small town in Wisconsin and we moved to Tega Cay in 2021 to be closer to my family.
I received my bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and then got my doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA where I graduated summa cum laude. After graduation, and especially once I became pregnant myself, I became very passionate about taking care of pregnant women and children. I’m a huge advocate for breastfeeding, home birth and informed consent so if you have any questions I’d love to chat! I was blessed to be able to have a home birth myself with my daughter and I know people tend to have a lot of questions because it’s not super common. I planned on having another home birth with my son but COVID changed my plans and I had him with my midwives at their beautiful birth center instead.
My favorite chiropractic story was when a pregnant momma was 41+ weeks and under the supervision of her midwife, had been trying to induce labor at home two nights in a row without success. I was able to provide gentle, specific adjustments that improved her biomechanics and removed any interference that was preventing labor from initiating. She went into labor all on her own that night and had baby in the comfort of her home as planned!

Meet Clairey Hurst
Chiropractic AssistantClairey, a proud mom of two beautiful girls, comes from Rock Hill, SC. She brings warmth and creativity to everything she does, whether it’s hand embroidery, crocheting cozy blankets, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Outside of the office, Clairey loves making memories with her family—whether they’re exploring the park, visiting the zoo, or enjoying playful afternoons in the backyard.
Clairey loves being a part of the Golden Family Chiropractic team and enjoys every moment spent in the office, connecting with our amazing clients and supporting their journeys to better health. She is passionate about helping others and dreams of becoming a lactation consultant once her children are school-aged, allowing her to guide and empower moms on their breastfeeding journeys with care and compassion.
Until then, Clairey is cherishing her time with her little ones and the wonderful GFC community she is proud to call her family.
